CapoBox: Movement, Music & Cultural Arts Enrichment
CapoBox is a structured, arts-based enrichment program that blends movement, music, cultural arts, and cooperative play to help students build confidence, coordination, creativity, teamwork, rhythm, and self-expression.
Drawing inspiration from Afro-Brazilian capoeira traditions and youth fitness principles, students engage in age-appropriate, non-contact activities that promote physical literacy, cultural awareness, collaboration, and leadership in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
All activities are designed with safety, accessibility, and positive social interaction at the core.

Program Components
Music
Students explore rhythm through clapping patterns, call-and-response songs, percussion activities, and group participation that builds timing, listening, and coordination.
Movement
Students develop balance, agility, coordination, spatial awareness, and movement confidence through structured games, challenges, and guided physical activities.
Cultural Arts
Students are introduced to Afro-Brazilian traditions, history, music, and cultural expression through engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
Collaboration
Students participate in partner work, cooperative games, and team challenges that strengthen communication, empathy, and teamwork.
